Benificiary: Magaldi Power Spa
Project duration: 15 MONTHS – START DATE: 1/6/2024
The project aims to study and model the configuration and process parameters for thermal storage systems charged by Renewable Energy Storage (RES) electricity. The systems are Thermal Energy Storage (TES) based on fluidized bed modules in series, able to deliver green heat on demand at high temperatures (>400 °C).
The development of a suitable thermodynamic model is envisaged to size the system and simulate operation and performance, through energy charging, storage, and discharging cycles for selected time windows, according to the user’s request.
