Magaldi Power participates to the FESR Campania 2014-2020 Operational Program, in agreement with the Campania Region and General Management for University, Research and Innovation, for the financing of the SMART project in order to reach the goal of continuous improvement in the research of new technologies that can meet the requirements of its customers.
This project has the following main purposes:
- research and develop of innovative solutions for the foundry sector aimed to achieve more efficient cooling processes of cast iron and aluminum castings, also through the reduction of machines’ overall dimensions;
- develop a new application to optimize the material temperature control and, in particular, the DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) briquettes cooling process in order to serve the raw materials suppliers market for steel mills.
